Possible changes to Missouri domestic violence laws

Legislation that would make changes to domestic violence laws in Missouri for the first time in close to 40 years was recently approved by a 33-0 vote by the state's Senate. If the bill is approved by the House, these changes could greatly impact issues related to family law.

Practical advice for recently divorced fathers

After a divorce it's natural for fathers with custody of their children to be rather scared of the prospect of raising their kids alone. Florida man fights for return of ailing daughter sent to Syria by mom without father's permission

A Florida man is fighting to get custody of his ailing 2-year old ailing daughter who was taken to Syria without his consent.  Fuat Kircaali, a 51-year old United States citizen, has spent more than a year in a nasty custody battle across various states and three different countries.

Divorce battle continues with who owns the Dodgers

Since 2009 Frank and Jamie McCourt have been in an ongoing property division divorce battle over who owns the Los Angeles Dodgers. As of now no set-in-stone decision has been made in the property division case, but the couple's court date has been moved to May 11 to give the two more time for possible negotiating.

Man who owes child support waited too long for paternity test

Right now a 52-year-old man has found himself in a particularly frustrating situation: he owes close to $200,000 for a child that he is most likely not the father of. Rather, the late comic Sam Kinison who passed away in 1992 is probably really the father.
